Caracas Empanadas is a Madison favorite rooted in Venezuelan tradition. Founded in 2010 by Luis de Dompablo, the business brings the flavors of his childhood to Wisconsin through hand-made empanadas and arepas based on his mother Rosa’s recipes. Each crispy empanada and gluten-free arepa is filled with choice-cut, locally sourced meats and fresh ingredients, slow-stewed in traditional seasonings and finished with house-made sauces like spicy Pique and herbaceous Guasacaca.
